It was so wonderful welcoming old and new faces to Mass last Sunday (31 May) for the first time in ten weeks.
Temporarily, because of the restriction of no more than 100 people at each Mass, we have added a 5.00 p.m. Saturday Mass here in Howick and an 11.00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, in addition to the usual Saturday 6.30 p.m., Sunday 8.00 a.m., 9.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. Masses.
When we move to Level 1 (perhaps by or before the end of June) many of these restrictions will cease. In the meantime, welcome home. Weekday Mass has also begun again and is offered Monday to Friday at 9.15 a.m.; 8.00 a.m. on Saturday; and an additional early 6.00 a.m. Mass on Wednesdays.
Father John
One of the oldest prayers to the Blessed Virgin Mary: -
We fly to thy protection, O most holy Mother of God: do not despise our prayers in time of necessity: but always free us from all dangers, O blessed and glorious Virgin Mary. Amen.
